MacBook Pro not charging again

I hate to sound like I'm complaining all the time about my MacBook Pro but I'm tired of the issues I'm having with it.

If you've read my other posts about my MacBook Pro you'll see that I like the display, the sound quality (for a laptop), the backlit keyboard and the battery life... but that I've been frustrated with noisy fans, a touchy trackpad that sometimes takes a few wiggles of my finger to register, the keyboard not responding and requiring the computer to be rebooted, the heat when used on my lap and now the MagSafe power adapter not working.

I've also noticed a few other odd things such as the speakers crackling a few times when I open the laptop and wake it up from it's sleep and the fans surging up to 5,000 RPM for at least a few minutes when I plug in the adapter while the computer is on. (For me who finds the 2,000 RPM baseline fan noise annoying, you can only imagine what I feel when they're revved up to 5,000 RPM.)

I called their phone tech support again today about the MagSafe adapter not working and I have an appointment at 7 PM tonight. So hopefully I'll at least be able to charge my laptop again...
