T. Boone Pickens to build large wind farm

Yesterday on cnn.com I saw a headline that read Billionaire oilman backs wind power and was intrigued. It seems that T. Boone Pickens is investing in wind power to create a 4,000 megawatt wind farm in Texas scheduled to be completed in 2015.

I hope I'm not the only one out here that thinks this is an awesome thing. It's not too often that you read about people in the oil industry being interested in anything besides making money off of our dependence on oil. At the very least, hopefully this gets other people (with the means to make large investments) to see that there's money to be made from wind and other less destructive energy producing technologies, as well.
