I don't know if anyone else out there does this, but I find myself almost constantly reading a blog post or article somewhere and typing out a comment in response and then when I'm just about done I close the window and never post my comment.
I do this because I usually find that what I've typed out has either already been said or I feel that it doesn't matter what I'm typing because the people who's comments or post I'm commenting on have already moved on and probably won't read what I've spent time thinking about and writing down. So I don't bother.
It popped into my head a few days ago that I almost always do this. Anyone else?

The irony in asking if anyone else does this is that if they do, you won't get a comment about it.
Haha. Yeah. I actually almost made that joke at the end of the post.
Jeremy, I do it all the time. I think that there's some value in it though. Sometimes it helps me figure out how I really feel about a topic. If I stop typing now I may actually post this commment...
