Let's pass a resolution...

I was reading the headlines that I have set up in my gmail (as I have a tendency do) and I came across this story about how everyone is still all pissy about that MoveOn.org full page ad asking "General Petraeus or General Betray Us?".

I also have a tendency to pick out one little part of a story to get really pissed off about. That little part in this article is where they mention that the Democrats "passed a resolution 72 to 25 expressing its own outrage" on the ad. It seems like a resolution to express their outrage about the MoveOn ad is the only thing that they could pass, though, because they failed in passing "a bill lengthening the home leaves of U.S. troops fighting in Iraq" which seems to me to be a much more worthwhile pursuit.

Why are they busy saying: "Hey guys, lets have a vote to say: You suck, MoveOn!" when they should be working harder on the fight to pass measures that help to end this pointless war?

Now I'm waiting for the next MoveOn ad... Hopefully the next one will be targeted at the worthless sacks of hypocritical shit in the House and Senate.
